In my line of work teaching and aiding students with their studies in a whole myriad of subjects in a countless institutions both in the UK and internationally for the most interesting part of the last 7 years, it is often attractive to inquire students as to why they actually need to go to college.
A whole multiplicity of factors will be given in response to this basic question this includes -
'Because my parents mention that I should go to college?'
'Because society tells I should to college?'
Of course these are meaningful motivating reasons, but you require more of a factor than either of those given above for the reason that these students marks all too often undergo as a result so, if you are going to look to go to college, you must need to go for a greater factor centred on 2 things your desire to look -
TO LEARN
and
TO DO SO FOR YOURSELF.
Remember, though no one in your family has ever been to college before, you should go if what you wish is to because this should be an amazing source of pride for both you and your family so go if what you wish is to.
Every homework assignment that you are set to be done by your college requires to be for you in the same way as every test and every other task that they need of you to acomplish your qualification in that particular subject at the institution you have chosen for the reason that the absolute motivation comes from within yourself.
Ask yourself whether you have a plan -
What do you need to be when you are older?
Do you need to be a physician, an actor, a lawyer, a football instructor or a dancer?
Why do you need to do it?
Whatever you select you will normally need qualifications, but anything it is you will normally be motivated to go out and get it for yourself if - for example - being a lawyer is what you surely want to be one day for a career.
Personal aspiration is clearly key in your desire to do things that you need to do - if there is something that you surely want to do, you must do all that you can to do it.
(a) develop your knowledge and aptitudes with a view to then furthering your career.
(b) Learn to express yourself more clearly and accurately where there is a efficient need for your know-how in a given subject (e.g. if you are a physician, you require be able to chat to patients clearly).
(c) Improve your understanding of lots subject-specific concepts and theories.
(d) Apply for employment and earn more cash potentially - (i.e. somebody who goes to college normally has lots more opportunities to get work and earn more money).
And so, with this in mind, inquire yourself now and think carefully -
